We've only just begun!

Hi moms,

This week we finished our Bible study, "Feminine Appeal" seven virtues of a Godly Wife and Mother. Although we're done with the study, we've just scratched the surface. Each one of us is a work in progress; it's a life long journey! Being a wife and mom is an incredible gift. I know at times it's frustrating, like when you're constantly pick up after people, doing your 27th load of laundry, or answering the same question for the 100th time. But you have been blessed and no one else can love your husband or raise your children like you can! I believe that God is watching and smiling over you and saying, "well done".

Here are the homework assignments for each chapter....

1) What is one way that you can "change your thought pattern" this week in order to cultivate tender thoughts toward your husband?

2.)Take some time to think and write down ways your children are a heritage, reward and blessing. Then why not tell your children how much you love them?

3.)Think about the one area where you are most in need of self control. Then remembering that we are totally dependent upon God's grace, plan to meet with Him every day this week.

4.)Are there any sins or temptations that you are currently "hiding" from others? pray about them and confess them to God. Set aside an hour to read the Song of Solomon.

5.)Ask the question "what would most help my husband?" What is one new skill you would like to acquire as a homemaker? How can you make this happen?

6.)God's love can redeem our unkindness toward our family, do we need to ask forgiveness of one or more family members? Do so today and trust God to work all for good.

7.)If submission includes helping our husbands to lead, what is one way you can use your gifts to assist your husband this week? Ask your husband to give you a "grade" in respect. Ask him to share why he gave you the grade that he did.

"The Lord your God is with you, he is mighty to save. He will take great delight in you he will quiet you with his love he will rejoice over you with singing." Zep 3:17

You are loved!

Have a great week, Lori
